The Seattle Times reports that this weekend (and this weekend only!), the roads of Mt. Rainier will be lined with paw-print signs memorializing the 225 animals who are known to have been killed by vehicles in park since 2007. The dead include 2 bears, 88 squirrels, and 59 chipmunks. No word of any planned memorial service.
