Who Needs Health Care Reform? The Victim...

A health care reform meeting in Thousand Oaks, CA turned violent when a pro-demonstrator in favor of the reforms confronted an anti-demonstrator against the reforms and, in an innovative piece of rhetoric, bit off the anti-demonstrator's finger. No word on whether the finger was reattached or whether the argument successfully converted the victim to support health care reforms. (Photo not actually the victim's finger.)

Update: the finger was bitten off above the top knuckle including the fingernail. It was not reattached. The victim (moderately ironically) does have Medicare. [MSNBC]
