The skatepark in Snowmass is once again safe for humans. The unnamed bear (age unknown), was found in a deep bowl at the skatepark on Tuesday morning. The steep sides of the bowl proved an effective if unintentional pit trap similar to the wolf trap shown below. Workers from the Parks and Rec department (and I am seriously thinking "summer interns" here), lowered a ladder which the bear eventually used to make its escape. No word on whether Activision will incorporate the bear into the next release of the Tony Hawk franchise. Wednesday, August 26, 2009
