While it goes without saying that humans come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, men have pretty basic and straightforward needs when it comes to clothing, while woman are more varied, and thus harder to fit for certain pieces of equipment (...I'm not trying to sound sexist here; just stating a fact).

Frankly, I'm surprised you didn't mention body armor in your post considering that, as more and more women serve in the world's armed forces, it becomes more and more challenging to fit them properly for this increasingly essential piece of gear. Since each vest must be custom fitted in order for maximum effectiveness, women either cannot wear standard brassieres because they're too uncomfortable, or must purchase expensive special purpose models designed for long-term use by the law-enforcement community.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17509904111949804993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1791506199370072070.post-21149340976763670582009-09-23T13:45:54.974-07:002009-09-23T13:45:54.974-07:00The US military also doesn't provide military-...The US military also doesn't provide military-grade underwear to our female troops. Women are also forced to fend for themselves, so to say, here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
